The 2015 AFC Wild Card Game Pittsburgh Vs. Cincinnati
It’s the weekend of Super Bowl 50 and I honestly don’t care who wins. My football season ended 3 weeks ago in Denver when the Broncos eliminated my team the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers had a very good injury plagued season; we can only imagine how good of a season it could have been if everyone was healthy. The Steelers are Super Bowl 51 favorites before this year is even over; stairway to 7 could be within our grasp during the 2016 season!
The Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Wild Card game in a unique fashion. I used to feel sorry for the Bengals organization, however I lost respect for them. The Bengals employ two players, Adam “Pac man” Jones and Vontaze Burfict, who are the two dirtiest players in the N.F.L., just goes to show what a classless organization they are! Neither team played like saints during the game, but Jones and Burfict just proved to everyone what the definition of a classless bum is. The Steelers were winning most of the game when the Bengals rallied to come back and take the lead by 2. The Steelers had plenty of time to come back, however the offense wasn’t moving the ball well when Burfict sacked Ben and injuring his shoulder. It was a perfectly legal hit by Burfict that sent Ben in to the locker room, however when Burfict was getting up he intentionally drove his knee in to Ben’s separated shoulder which is considered cheap and dirty to mostly everyone. The Steelers back-up quarterback, Landry Jones, was handed the task of winning the game. Landry was awful on his first possession and the Steelers went three and out. Landry’s second possession was even worse when he threw an interception to none other than Vontaze Burfict. After Burfict made the interception, he decided to run all the way to the locker room waiving bye showing that he doesn’t have any class; by the way, where was the flag for delay of game? It turned out that Cincinnati got the ball back and all they had to do was run out the clock to seal their first playoff win in 5 years, but that isn’t exactly what happened. On their first play after they got the ball back, the Bengals running back did the unthinkable and fumbled the ball back to the Steelers. Due to an ineffective Landry, Ben in tremendous pain came back on the field to try and lead his team to victory. Ben was effective in driving the team down the field while time was running out, and then the Bengals did what they do best and completely solidified what a classless organization they are. Ben stepped back to pass trying to make a completion to Antonio Brown across the middle, but the ball sail over Brown’s head and was an incompletion. Only 9 seconds left and it seemed like the Bengals were going to win after all, but Dumb (Burfict) and Dumber (Jones) spoiled the Bengals dream of winning their first playoff game in 5 years. As Antonio was coming across the middle while the ball was overthrown and out of anyone’s reach, Vontaze Burfict decided, once again, to deliver a cheap and dirty shot to Brown by lowering his shoulder and hitting square in the head knocking him unconscious and drawing a 15-yard penalty. Coaches from the Steelers came on the field to check on Brown’s health while coach Porter had a verbal confrontation with some of the Bengal’s players. It’s about time for Adam Jones to do his part. Adam was so infuriated at Coach Porter that he put his hands on an official that drew another 15-yard penalty. To sum it up, the Steelers made a chip shot field goal to win the game and continued Cincinnati’s losing streak to 6 games in the playoffs. I am not saying that Burfict and Jones are dirty and classless players just because of this game, they have proved my point numerous times throughout their careers. And I lost respect for the Cincinnati Bengals organization for employing Beavis (Burfict) and Butthead (Jones); they don’t even deserve to be in the N.F.L.
More Medical Issues
I have been suffering from Medical issue since 1983 when I had a massive brain tumor. I have been dealing with a broken leg since last December. It’s almost completely healed by now when I fell and tore up my knee. I have a Doctors appointment on Monday when he will read the results of my MRI and tell me what the best option will be; I am very anxious to hear what he has to say! My nurse told me what she thinks what my MRI reveals. My nurse thinks that my meniscus torn, ligaments torn, can't see behind to the Tibial muscle, looks like old blood in the muscle, looks like a tear of the patellar tendon, anterior ligament missing from tears (went to the side). Doesn’t that sound inviting? She may be right, she may be wrong, I will know for sure when I get the written report in a couple of days and when I see my Doctor on Monday. Whatever the results may be, it looks like I will have another surgery with a long road to recovery ahead? Am I up for the long road ahead, is there any more fight left in me? I am completely exhausted with all my medical issues! My MRI is below, what do you think is wrong with my knee? Is my broken leg healed? Do I have any gas left in the tank? Comment and share your thoughts. On a positive note, I want to wish my father a Happy Birthday!
